So far, 7 in a row. How far could the Jazz take their win streak?

The Jazz have won 7 straight and 11 of their last 12.  If we can keep this up we could be able to finish the season so strong and end up with a great seed for the playoffs.  Realistically, how long could we maintain this win streak?  Let’s look at our upcoming schedule

Saturday Feb 6 – Home vs Denver.  Tough game, we have played horribly against Denver this year, they seem to have our number.  On the plus side, Melo hasn’t returned to the lineup yet and Chauncey has been banged up recently.  With the Jazz playing so well I can’t see them losing this game (I said that last time…and NO, I didn’t jinx ‘em).

Tuesday Feb 9 – Away vs LA Clippers.  I’m not super worried.  The Clippers have been their usual inconsistent, bad selves this season.  Should be a solid win (not easy, but solid).

Wednesday Feb 10 – Home vs LA Lakers.  Another tough game…especially on the 2nd night of a back to back.  Thank goodness it’s at home.  We beat the Lakers here the last time we played them.  With Kobe getting more and more banged up the Lakers have barely been hanging in some recent games.  Realistically, I think the Jazz pull out a win here w/ how well they’ve been doing lately.

That’s our last game before the All-Star Break.  If we win out till then, that would make it 10 in a row.  That’s not an easy schedule but we’d be on such a roll if we could take them all.  After the All-Star break we play 4 on the road against Houston, New Orleans, Golden State and Portland.  In the past we’ve been able to dominate every one of those teams but Houston has given us trouble this year and Golden State gave us some trouble last year.  I can’t see the Jazz winning all 4 of those…although I feel like they should.  Could we make it 14 in a row?
